CONSULTATIONS
TERMS OF AGREEMENT, DISCLOSURES, AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY.
By booking and scheduling a consultation with MFC, you are agreeing to the following Terms of Agreement, Disclosures, and Waiver of Liability. Once the booking has been completed, if for any reason, you are unable to attend your consultation, we are more than happy to reschedule our meeting with a minimum of two hours' prior notice. In the event we have to cancel for any reason, we will work with you to reschedule your consultation. There are absolutely no refunds, regardless of cancellation or rescheduling. Once the booking has been completed, if you are unable to attend the meeting for any reason, you will not be able to receive your fee back.
We have a 15-minute late policy. If you have not arrived at our meeting after 15 minutes, the meeting will be canceled, and you will not receive a refund.
Court-mandated hearings and appearances may occasionally conflict with a scheduled consultation. If, for any reason, MFC must cancel your scheduled consultation, MFC will work with you to reschedule your consultation at a mutually agreeable time.
Consultations are recorded for notetaking purposes only. For the privacy of your child, consultations are private and will not be shared with others. You must have a video on your screen so we can be in view of each other.
By booking and scheduling this consultation with MFC, you understand and acknowledge MFC is/are not an attorney(ies) and cannot provide any legal advice, counsel, or services. You have he right to consult with an attorney and/or have been given the opportunity to so consult, with an independent counsel, and such other professionals as you deem appropriate, relative to any and all services provided for under this Agreement and each term. By booking and scheduling with consultation with MFC, you understand and acknowledge that it may be necessary for MFC to recommend engaging the services of a special education attorney, and in the event your case proceeds to a Due Process Hearing, it is highly unlikely, any fees you paid to MFC fees can be ordered reimbursable.
During consultation you will have the opportunity to share your current concerns and issues and assist you in making a plan of action based upon the information provided at the time of consultation. Use your time wisely. You understand and acknowledge that consultation services are based solely on the information provided by you to MFC at the time of the scheduled consultation. You understand, acknowledge, and agree to hold MFC, and/or any of its consultants, agents, representatives, employees, contractors or heirs, etc., harmless and not liable for any outcomes as a result of the consultation services performed by MFC or for any acts or omissions as a result thereof. You agree to indemnify MFC fully from any such occurrences. In the event the outcome is not what you desired, expected, and/or anticipated, no refunds will be given under any circumstances. You waive any and all rights to pursue any action, legal or otherwise in and/or outside of the courts against MFC or any of its consultant’s, agents, representatives, employees, contractors or heirs, etc., if any, in connection with these Terms of Agreement, Disclosures, and Waiver of Liability and/or any of the consultation services performed therein. These terms are subject to change at any time.
